Arts & Entertainment:

-> They are working towards a more elegant French Quarter theme for the dinner portion of the event. They are excited to decorate the room while making it look unique and original.

-> They are very pleased with their centerpiece decorations and should be done constructing them shortly.

->They finalized and booked an incredibly talented local jazz band to play at the event.

-> The overall production of the Arts & Entertainment department is really coming together and they are on track for a great Les Gourmets 2013 
News from the Reception Department:

Does anyone have access to large sheets of uncut, uncreased, and unfolded cardboard? Please ask around as any donation is greatly appreciated!

Our reception entertainment is hired and contracts are signed. We are very excited with the caliber of people we have found.

Our costumes are finished and the props are purchased!

We are having a blast painting and constructing our projects as they are turning out wonderfully. Anyone interested in helping out is more than welcome to do so!

Hi all!

Here is the latest news from this weeks featured department: Donations


-->Almost all ingredients have been donated, including all protein and produce

-->They are currently in contact with the 5 stores and restaurants in New Orleans that are being featured in reception

-->They have been discussing with Dr. Borchgrevink suggestions on beer and wine pairings for each and every dinner course

-->They are working with Jon Traskey from The State Room to find possible donors of these beverages
